Just another day I guess.
Woke up at 10:00 am, on the dot this morning, and headed to my school to get my schedule and holds handled. As I left my door, the wind seemed to pick up and M83 - Midnight city blasted in my headphones as I walked towards the bus stop. I felt pretty godamn badass; almost felt like I was walking in slow motion. I boarded the bus and got to my station and saw something rather peculiar. Police caution tape strung up all around a stairway to the upper platforms. There were two officers there, one unwrapping some kind of tinfoil-like blanket, the other sitting on the stairs next to a person laying on the ground. I didn’t get a good look, but I believe it was an elderly lady. I got to my school, got my paperwork handled and made my way back home. By the time I got back to the station, I smelt some kind of strong chemical, probably chlorine. I guess its safe to say I saw a dead body.

Leaving the hospital for the first time as an infant. It still surprises me to this day that I am able to remember that.
